HMC RETAIL RETURNS POLICY

The majority of items* purchased from Herts Music Centre can be returned for a refund via the original payment method if you make contact within 14 calendar days of purchasing your item(s).

*Refunds/exchanges can not be accepted on books and gifts unless defective.

If you would prefer to EXCHANGE your item(s), you can do so for up to 30 calendar days after purchasing your item(s).

Returns are accepted provided that the item is returned undamaged and in the same condition that it was purchased in.
The original receipt must be presented.
For items returned within 14 days of purchase that are faulty, Herts Music Centre will offer a replacement where possible or instead arrange repair/servicing with the item’s manufacturer.
Items should be returned as they were originally packaged and be only subjected to normal use. If the item’s usage has gone beyond what is reasonably expected, Herts Music Centre reserves the right to retain a percentage of the price paid or refuse the item’s return altogether.
Items cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the product was brought to the attention of the customer at the point of sale.
For any Media, Software or any product that is registered or has a copyright policy, for a return to be accepted the product must be unopened.

Unless your product is faulty:

A 5% restocking charge will be retained by Herts Music Centre for all returns.
The customer is liable for any delivery costs associated with an item’s return/exchange.
Returns for items special-ordered at a customer's request can not be accepted.
For Health and Safety reasons some products such as headphones, microphones, earphones, in-ear monitoring products that have been used or where the hygienic seal has been removed or broken cannot be returned.
Returns can not be accepted for any products whereby the warranty has already been registered with the products’ manufacturer(s).

Further notices:

Any return/refunds may take up to 14 days to be processed whilst the item(s) are inspected.
For items purchased over the phone, the return/exchange deadlines (14/30 calendar days respectively) are from the date the goods are received/collected.
